The motor and reducer drive the impeller to slowly rotate. Materials enter the washer through the feeder chute and are separated from the soil and impurities covered on the sand surface. The washed sand is poured into the discharge chute under the propulsion of spiral, and the soil and impurities are discharged from the overflow port under the effect of water flow.Spiral Sand Washer Machine is mainly used for sand factory, electric pole factory, work-site of building and concrete dam to wash, classifying and de-watering various sands.
Sand Washing Machine adopt inclination of 15° , under the water tub, three weir plates form the sediment pool, the screw head is immersed in this pool, the screw is driven by electric motor through reducer rotating continuously, the fresh water is feeding from porous plate at bottom of sediment pool, this machine have three functions of washing, de-watering, classifying.
Washing: The sand is feeding into the sediment pool from the feeding box, acting by rotating screw blade, the sand is turning and rolling and grinding each other to eliminate impurity and water-air layer around sand to facilitate de-water. The fresh eater rising current from the porous plate carry foreign matter to water surface and overflow the weir plate, to finish washing processingDe-watering: The sand with bigger density is sunken down to tub bottom, the screw blade push this sand upwards, when passing through upper tub of proper length above water level, the water is draining into sediment pool from another drainage ditch, the de-watered sand is out from the discharging opening.
Finally,the separated fine sands are discharged from the discharging port under the advancing movement of the spiral.Thus,the continuous work of washing sand is finished again and again.Promptly carries off the impurity and the small proportion foreign matters,and discharge from the overflow port tank washer,completes the cleaning action.The clean sand and crushed stone are carried off by the leaf blade,and finally poured into the discharge chute from the revolving impeller,completes the cleaning action.

The overflow spiral blade is higher than overflow level, and the overflow spiral center is lower than overflow surface. The high wire spiral classifier is applied in the classification of ore with particle size 0.83-0.15mm
Spiral Classifier-Working Principle
The grinded pulp is fed into tank from the inlet in the middle of settlement region, and the slurry classification sedimentation area is under the inclined tank. The spiral with low speed rotation stirs the slurry, so that the fine particles rise, and the coarse particles sinks to the bottom of tank. Overflow weir is above the bearing center which is under screw shaft, and is underneath overflow end.
